Experience:
Before joining the team, Beth Mandel Rosenthal practiced commercial litigation and represented clients in class action lawsuits. Since joining the firm, she focuses on helping people achieve their dreams, primarily with FDD, Franchise Agreement and commercial lease reviews and negotiation.
Focus:
Beth focuses on helping small-time business owners and first-time business purchasers understand the FDD and Franchise Agreement. She is a pro at breaking down and negotiating complicated commercial leases, which are designed to favor the landlord. Her knack for understanding the fine print ensures that her clients are protected for the future.
Passion:
Beth enjoys helping small business owners accomplish their dreams, whether that be a high-powered executive quitting her job to open a yoga studio or an ambitious young entrepreneur looking to start a sandwich shop or smoothie franchise. For Beth, the best part of her job is getting involved in the excitement of working with small business owners who are looking forward to the future.
Memorable Experience:
Beth worked with a client who was opening a healthy fast-casual franchise that incorporated local produce and healthy options into a casual dining atmosphere. The client was set on growing an organic vegetable garden on the outside of the property, so she could incorporate fresh herbs and other produce into the menu. Unfortunately, the business was in an upscale shopping center so having the landlord sign off on that seemed close to impossible. After some negotiation, the vegetable garden made it into the lease and the garden was planted! The business has since grown and is opening its fourth location with Beth’s help and guidance.
When Beth isn’t working she enjoys spending time with family, which includes taking skiing trips out West. She even gets to watch her kids compete in ski racing. Beth likes staying active, which includes cycling outdoors and trying out some new workout classes.
