Experience:
Josh embarked upon his legal career after completing a college internship assisting a Philadelphia Municipal Court judge. During that time, Josh truly gained an appreciation of, and developed a passion for law. After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University, Josh attended the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware graduating Cum Laude in 1997. Over the course of the years that followed, Josh came to find his niche in the transactional world of business and real estate law.
Josh founded JM LAW GROUP, LLC, in 2009 with the mission to concentrate in business and commercial real estate transactions on behalf of entrepreneurs, small business owners, medical/dental professionals and investors. Prior to that time, he was a partner at a boutique law firm in Philadelphia; and even earlier in his career, Josh was a sole practitioner focusing in real estate law, business law and criminal defense. He spent the first two years of his career as an associate at the Lutz & LeVow and Hark & Hark law firms.
Josh has negotiated employment and marketing contracts for NFL players, structured the sale of an industry-leading online company to a Canadian venture capital firm and has counseled numerous investors, professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs in the purchase, sale, lease and refinance of hotels, strip-centers, apartment buildings, medical and dental practices, and restaurant and retail establishments.
