Michael started working as the Senior Real Estate Counsel for David’s Bridal when it was a small startup retailer. As the company grew to become the nation’s largest bridal retailer, Michael took on the role of Vice President of Real Estate. As a key contributor to the company’s expansion, he gained extensive experience in national and international growth strategy, portfolio management, and location intelligence.
Michael later used his expertise to start his own real estate consulting company—helping retail clients assess, plan, and implement real estate growth strategies, as well as assisting landlords in analyzing potential commercial development opportunities.
As an expert in real estate law, Michael is the guy to go to if you need to negotiate a retail/commercial lease. With 500+ lease negotiations under his belt, he will make sure your agreements are promptly reviewed and thoroughly negotiated.
Michael’s approach is firm, but fair, never losing sight of his clients’ business objectives. His diverse experience working with national, regional, and startup brands as well as the entire spectrum of landlords has made him an adaptable force in the industry.
Michael attributes his professional growth to the years he dedicated expanding David’s Bridal. He has successfully executed deals in all 50 states, Canada, and the UK.
When he’s not traveling the world (or giving legal advice), Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
